The first day of more time wasted on the laptop

My daughter seems to have such fun on her blog, she spends copious amounts of time updating it, I decided to create my own. My life is, in my opinion, ordinary, sedate, some would say boring. I never get bored doing nothing, and that is the epitome of a loser, right? Okay, day one, it is cold and windy and wet outside, a good day to stay in. And that is what I am doing this New Year's eve. Going out to eat at our favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in Sunnyvale, Tino's. They're good, fast, and I get the same dish everytime, The Ocampo (pronounced oh-comp-oh, for all of you non-Spanish-speaking persons).
We usually stay at home on New Year's eve, mainly because no one ever invites us to a party. Also, I don't want to be out on the roads trying to avoid drunk drivers and people with firearms, and the very worst, drunk drivers with firearms. We will have our wine and attempt to stay awake until midnight, although the last couple of years we were unsuccessful staying awake. I blame my comfortable recliner.
